SHAMES MOUNTAIN Jewel of the Wilds
Wonderful powder without crowds and line ups awaits downhill skiers at Shames Mountain, our nearest ski hill, located 35 km west of Terrace. Shames is known for its spectacular views and boasts that it gets more snow than any other lift served area in North America.
It offers marvellous skiing on twenty marked trails from beginner to double diamond level on over 133 acres that are accessed by a double chair lift, a T-bar and a handle tow.
