KITIMAT PUBLIC LIBRARY
A COMMUNITY HUB
The Kitimat Public Library is a welcoming place where the friendly staff endeavour to meet your every need. As you'd expect, there are books at our library:
- books for kids, books for teens and books for adults,
- fiction and non-fiction books,
- books in regular and large print,
- books in English and many other languages
but there is also so much more:
- newspapers and magazines
- music CDs
- audio books
- movie DVDs
- free internet access
- free word processing
- programs for children
- the Library Book Club
- computer tutorials
- workshops
- author visits
- a data base
- and special events.
The library is one of the main hubs in the community, housed in a modern building with an unusual, unique design and a large, comfortable sitting area to sit and read.
If the library doesn't have the book you are looking for, the staff will bring it in for you from another library through the B.C. inter library loan system.
Computer printing, photocopying, fax service and laminating are also available at a reasonable cost.
