FIBRE ARTS GUILD
Spinning wheels spin, shuttles slide and knitting needles click when the members of the Fibre Arts Guild gather once every two weeks to support and encourage each other, share ideas and learn new things while enjoying a cup of tea and munching on snacks.
The fibre arts practised by guild members run the whole gamut. They spin, weave, crochet, knit, do needlepoint, weave baskets, and dye yarn.
They have hosted weaving and spinning workshops and every year they hold a Distaff Day at which they celebrate spinning. Occasionally they get together with the fibre arts groups in Terrace and Smithers.
